Yesterday Mary came back from orchards for schools to come and check on our trees.
Our trees started to produce fruit but out trees need to first start growing roots and leaves.
so we trimmed the fruit bulbs off.
We need to trim the bulbs off because the fruits will weigh down the tree and it will split the tree.
The pear trees have no fruit.
The plum trees have no fruit.
The Fejoa trees have no fruit.
But the apple trees are the only trees thet grew fruit an needed to be snipped.

Last week we did our speeches.
We decided that we will highlight the important parts.
I would like to know what you think.
Dog are amazing for many thing in this world.
Do you have a dog?
You might be thinking dogs are ok but only cats can catch
rats and mice right?
Well no, before history Jack Russels were the official rat
catchers before cats were even domesticated.
And I am here to educate you on why dogs are better than cats.
There is a breed for everyone
You might not want a tiny dog and you might not want a big dog but lucky for you
there are so many types and sizes.
There is long hair, short haired, wired hair and soft hair.
If you want the biggest or the smallest breed you might want
a Caucasian Shepherd (Biggest) or a Chihuahua (Smallest).
All cats are almost the same size so there are not a lot to choose from
Guide Dogs
Guide dogs are working dogs, they help lead the blind and visually impared.
Only the best of the best can be a guide dog.
Out of all the dogs that train to be a guide dog only 75% of dogs get in.
In Europe they tried to train guide cats. After a few months of repetitive failure they shut
down the project.
Sniffer Dogs
I think the best thing a dog can be trained to do is be a sniffer dog.
A Sniffer dog can actually be trained to sniff out multiple things like
Drugs, Bombs, large amounts of money and even people.
And some scientists are trying to train dogs to sniff out Covid-19.
Cat’s are not interested in the slightest bit of training.
So imagine a cat doing any of these jobs!

Guard Dogs
A large group of dogs are categorized as guard dogs.
Guard dogs act as a home alarm.
Their bark warns the owner that there is a problem.
These breeds are courageous and strong and have no problem defending their
home.
The most common guard dogs are normally Mastiffs or bully breed
because of their
reputation for being dangerous and fierce.
These breeds are some of my top 5 guarding breeds.

Dogs Understand Gestures/More trainable
This might not come as a surprise to you but some dogs are deaf and they need a mentor
to get them through the world.
So to train a deaf dog they will need to learn hand gestures.
It is not as hard as it seems.
All you need to do is use 1 gesture and associate it with an action.
And even if your dog is able to hear they will love the extra entertainment and learning.
And That just goes to show how trainable dogs actually are.
Just imagine a cat meowing to stop a robber!
Dogs have so many better uses than a cat in modern society.
I mean It’s pointless to tell your cat to herd a flock of sheep isn’t it!
And Cats sleep 16 hours a day and the other 8 hours they are outside.
In Conclusion That is why dogs are so much better than cat’s.
Nuclear Power is an unsustainable power source and it is a target for terrorist attacks because it can cause major explosions and will cause radioactive waste to pour out into our environment

Today just wanted to post something a little bit different.
In the holidays we planted our Little Gardens from New World
And We used a spray bottle to water the plants.
My dog Nala loves water so my sister and me thaught lets spray her and see ow she reacts
(She loves the hose pipe).

In the holidays my BFF Zara Invited me and some friends to have a sleepover and do some Ice Skating
We went ice skating for about 2 hours.
The ice skating rink has a DJ and also played games like spin the bottle and a dance off.
To stop you do a pizza shape like we did for skiing.

Ok I want you to Imagine you are walking into a hotel, if you look one way you see the hotel restaurant and if you look the other way you will see the stairs to 85 rooms.
We had dinner in the hotel and for the main meal I had Chicken tenders and chips and for desert I had some chocolate and Raspberry brownie.
If you could choose from any desert what would you have?

These holidays have been amazing right!?
In the holidays we went to Nelson because my mum was at a trade show (Work Stuff).
So Dad, Ilijana (My sister) and me went too the zoo in Nelson and these animals are just a few of the amazing animals we saw.

For maths we were learning how to make charts and Ms McCombie said that we should teach others.
And I made my chart on dog breeds because I love dogs.

Today we did our reading activity.
It took about 25 minutes.
Our reliver teacher Mrs North has her own activitie so this is her activity.
Kia Ora everybody last week I made a video on how to do a heart transplant.
We are doing this activity based on the book Pig Heart Boy.
The main character named Cameron is going to get a heart transplant.
We are going learning the steps to know what is going to happen to him.
It took me about 3 days with the planing and changing it to a video.

So I have been sick for a while and I decided to do a bit of doodling .
Today I made this dress based on the 60's but with a twist because they all have bright colours so I made mine with darker colours.
I used the app called sketch pad and I also used my Acer Spin laptop pen.
It took about 1 1/2 hours (because I was just playing around) .
